Skylar Rae™ Cherries

Skylar Rae™ Cherries

A Beautiful Cherry with a Special Story

While following a rainbow as they walked through their cherry trees in the hills and canyons of Wenatchee, Washington State, USA, Troy & Kim Toftness, who had only recently suffered the unimaginable loss of their infant daughter Skylar Rae, stumbled upon a cherry tree that was different than any other tree in their orchard. This tree glowed with special coloured cherries that were firm and crisp, with a super sweet flavour unlike any other cherry they had tasted.

Because these cherries were so special, the Toftness family felt it was a gift from nature meant to honour their beautiful daughter. So, they named the colourful, unique, and deliciously sweet cherry after her — and Skylar Rae™ cherries, along with the association with a rainbow, was born.

Distinctive Appearance and Supreme Sweetness

Displaying a blushing orange “caramel glow” and delivering unmatched sweetness, distinctive crunch and rich flavour, Skylar Rae™ cherries deliver an eating experience like no other fruit.

Troy often remarks on the “unique bronze colour of their cherry, giving the appearance of a sun-kissed tan”. This “caramel glow” is a hallmark of their supreme sweetness, indicating the cherries have absorbed ample sunshine.

It truly is “the sweetest cherry you’ll ever eat”.
