Our Delicious Cherries
Premium Cherries Since 1893
With orchards strategically located across four diverse growing regions in Australia, Wandin Valley Farms cultivates premium cherries from one of the longest harvest windows in the Southern Hemisphere – spanning 12-14 weeks from October to January.
We carefully select cherry varieties worldwide that thrive in each location’s unique climate and soil conditions. Our premium range includes beloved classic dark cherries like Lapin alongside exciting new varieties such as Royal Hazel, Black Star, and Regina.
Cherry Varieties Throughout The Season
Enjoy the DIAMOND experience
While specialising in traditional dark cherries, also grow a select blush cherry variety. For those seeking something different, we offer sour cherries in late December and our Sweet Pixie Cherry Plums throughout January.
Our commitment to quality shows in every cherry we grow. From careful variety selection to maintaining optimal growing conditions through each season, we ensure our cherries meet the premium standards our customers have come to expect since 1893.

Quality Cherries Since 1893
The Sebire family of Wandin Valley Farms has a history of growing fresh cherries as far back as 1893 and commenced fruit exports in 1895 when Henry Sebire dispatched the first shipment of apples and pears to London from their original ‘Mont De Lancey’ orchard in the Yarra Valley just outside of Melbourne, the site where we now pack our cherries, have our farmgate shop and send to many destinations domestically and internationally. The love of growing only ‘the finest fresh cherries’ continues within the Sebire family to this day.
Today, Wandin Valley Farm’s 3-month harvest window provides one of the longest supply windows of cherries worldwide, with our mainland harvest spanning from late October to Late December, and our Tasmanian harvest following from Late December to the end of January.
Our early season mainland varieties include Royal Hazel, Royal Lynn, Santina, Black Star, and Samba, and our mid to late season varieties from our mainland and Tasmanian orchards include Lapin, Simone, Sweet Georgia, Regina, and Kordia.
